I believe the most transformative thing a person can do is learn to hold complexity without losing themselves. My work — whether in a therapy room, on stage or on a page — is about that.

The Whole Person

I’m a licensed marriage and family therapist, professor, speaker, and author. But I am also a wife, a mom, and someone who has done her own hard work. I don’t separate those things — and I don’t think you should have to either.
